Term of Service and Procedures

Limited Warranty

1. This limited warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for one year from the date of purchase.

2. During the warranty period, SOTO will repair any defective air purifier sent to our designated service center. Complete information of the Warranty card and the purchase receipt is required to process the free repair.

3. The  warranty does not cover the repair cost in the following circumstances:

(1) Incomplete information on the warranty card. Including the purchase date, the buyer's name, and place of the purchase; Alterations on the original warranty card.

(2) Machine malfunctions due to the failure to follow the proper operating procedures described in the user manual.

(3) Damages caused by using incompatible parts and accessories from other companies.

(4) Damages resulted from external causes, such as incorrect power line voltage or electrical surge.

(5) Damages caused by unauthorized repair or modification.

(6) Damages caused by abuse or neglect.

(7) Damages caused by natural disasters, such as fire, flood, lightning, or earthquake.

(8) Damages caused by improper installation or set-up.

(9) Malfunctions caused by improper maintenance, such as required routine replacements of HEPA filter, activated carbon filter, or other accessories.


Return / Replacement

The SOTO Return/Replacement policies are formulated in accordance with relevant provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Product Quality and Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests to safeguard consumers' lawful rights and interests.

1. If a functional failure occurs within seven days of the purchase, the customer has options for a full refund, replacement, or free repair.

2. If a functional failure occurs within fifteen days of the purchase, the customer has the right to replacement or repair. The replacement of the same model with the exact specifications will be made free of charge.

3. If the malfunction problem persists after three repair attempts, SOTO will offer a replacement of the same model with the exact specifications free of charge.


Shipping Costs

1. For any repair not covered by the warranty, the customer shall pay for the cost, including shipping.

2. For any defect covered by the warranty, SOTO will pay the shipping cost for the repair and return. Please use a reliable shipping service. The refund, replacement, or repair process starts as soon as the product is received.
